Nice and cheap PCM1704UK DAC?

I came across this DAC, and it looks very impressive for the price. Just look at the parts used: 2 PCM1704UK chips running in parallel, DF1704 digital filter, DIR9001 receiver for digital inputs, DALE resistors, EVOX and SOLEN capacitors, all powered from a shielded 80W R-coil transformer that feeds some "8 groups of parallel Class A voltage regulators which are combined into double parallel voltage regulators to lower the internal resistance and to purify power supply." (whatever this is :) ).

The build quality definitely stands out on top of the most gear from China. The million dollar question is of course how does it compare to other DACs in its price range (like DacMagic, etc). What do you think? Is this a nice piece of smart engineering, or just a bunch of buzzword parts?

I like that type of symmetrical design, but it's been my experience that it is hard to get the hum down to the lowest levels with a separation between left and right channels as in this DAC. Works great for dual mono type setups and for balanced connections, but some amps will hum due to the different ground voltages on the two channels causing loop currents. Seems to usually work better with the two channels side by side, sharing a closely coupled common signal ground between them.

My experience with this DAC has been fantastic, it competes with Mark Levenson DAC's costing 10x as much. Dead serious great design. And no hum.
