 John, were you ever able to do a followup review on the Bel Canto's ..?


Overall, I was very impressed by the Bel Canto Black, especially with its behavior as a D/A converter that is effectively capable of driving loudspeakers. Once I have finished the review of another amplifier I have been working on, I am going to set up the Black in my own system for a listen.-John Atkinson

Beat me to an answer, Mr. Wayne. :-)

When the Black system was returned to Bel Canto, BYTW, they did find that
my misuse had damaged some components.

A DAC that can drive speakers ... something tells me you meant something else?

Nope. The Black takes a digital data input and drives loudspeakers.
