 Dear friend Audiophile, you are getting on my nerves...
10Audio is Free. It required a lot of work. The opinion of the author is very enlighting, and when I know the equipement reviewed, my own opinion is often very similar to 10Audio, which is rarely the case with reviews from 'professional', paid reviewers.
Then please, stop criticizing that guy. He makes my life better.

 An OP not being engaged in a conversation that the OP started is one of the most irritating aspects of internet forums. If the OP is interested enough to ask a question, they ought to be interested enough to converse, and not just sit back and watch.

Further, you've been a member since 2004, and have only posted 280-some times. So, I would hardly consider your whining to be of any value to the rest of us.

 Guy clearly has a lot of experience with very good gear.

That's what many people here don't understand, unfortunately. He DOES NOT HAVE to prove to anybody here that the amp in question is not very good. He simply auditions it, and reports on his findings - in the context of his vast experience with others amps, many of which apparently sounding better than that Krell.

Simple as that.

 Like any audio review site, there are things to like and dislike. I think that it is fine that people share their beefs or interpretations of reviews and reviewers here, as it lets us the audio consumers make more informed decisions as we reflect on the biases and limitations that reviews may have. Over time of course one gets to know reviewers and their preferences, which hopefully helps us make better decisions for how we spend our audio dollars.

And a discussion of what makes a review particularly strong or weak is always welcome as it hopefully increases the chances of reviews done as well as possible.

I for one find myself preferring reviews that have measurements and that try out gear with a wide range of associated equipment. So both SS & tubes, or with a variety of speaker types. With and without subwoofers. I find that it is also important to pay attention to the type of music being played during a review.

And in addition to how a piece of equipment sounds with a variety of set-ups, I also look for how it performs across the frequency spectrum, how it soundstages, how it performs on- and off-axis, how it performs at low and high volume and which genres of music it might be particularly well poorly suited to.

Does 10Audio do all of these things in every review? No. Does any reviewer? Not always.

And in these AA circles, I certainly want to know about anything else that might influence a review (such as the reported bad blood between 10Audio and Atma-Sphere).

Cite examples. Show your work.

Sans that, your post says nothing except that you like 10 Audio and you don't like others criticizing it/him.
