What Power Cord Are You Using With Your Compact Disc Player & Phono Stage?
Looking to experiment with power cords in the sub $500.00 range, new or used.
I would like to hear about what you are using.

I'm using a Maestro power cable that is in your price range.

The Kimber Kable PK10 Gold with WG 330I plug and a WG 350I IEC connector.

Be warned the power cord requires at least 100 hours of burn-in, break-in, settle-in, time before it really opens up and sounds good. I suggest hooking it up to an appliance for break-in. Just connecting to your Cambridge Azur 840C will take forever.

If you can buy used you can save some money. LOL, not to mention the seller will have already burned-in the power cord.

I bought mine from a B&M dealer in my area a couple of years ago. I replaced a PS Audio Plus power cord with the PK10 Gold.

I just made a power cord for my CDP that is used as a transport. Two heavily discounted cryo'ed plugs from Sonicraft and DH Labs power plus cable from eBay. Less than $150 spent with a great result! See link below to Sonicraft deals on Neotech and Furutech plugs over 50% off.

I'm using Wireworld Electra 7. If your player has a bit of digital edginess, these seem to help tame that without taking away from the sound.

I am leaning toward the Kimber Kable PK10 Gold or the WyWires Juice II.

You will like the Signal Cable- for its price-point, it is tough to beat (no pun). These cables/cords jive well w/ Silent Source.

Nothing wrong w/ Kimber, it does well in an all Kimber system, much like, Cardas, Audioquest and Transparent.
