Diamonds in the rough

For those who believe wire is wire, you can stop reading now. However, as has been my experience over 40 years pursuing audio nirvana, nothing could be farther from the truth. Knowing how much cabling can make a significant difference both with interconnects and speaker wire, the challenge is in separating the voodoo from honest well designed solutions. It is not my intention to undermine the qualities of $8000 interconnects, hand made by Monks thinking only pure thoughts, but to share with you that the pursuit of audio bliss does not require a second mortgage.

Enter Clairvoyant Cables, a start-up with products that should not be in the $ vs. performance arena. Clairvoyant manufactures high purity, continuous cast, 24K gold plated cables, interconnects and jumpers between the dual inputs on speakers such as mine which previously had gold plated railroad spikes connecting the inputs.
Now for the juice. I replaced my 15’ run of garden hose size speaker cables (from a renowned company) and input jumpers and the difference was almost unbelievable. The combination of these cables produced a bottom end at least an octave, maybe two, lower in bass with articulation and slam, nothing mushy. The midrange opened up with superb detail, almost liquid without an in-your-face presentation. The soundstage opened up significantly, and for the first time my superb Sonus Faber speakers completely disappeared, leaving me feeling like I was in the performance. Lastly, the top end increased in extension and detail, yet had almost tube-like warmth (something I think hard to pull off).

In closing, the most remarkable aspect of Clairvoyant Cables products is how they produce such a superior product for the price. The Clairvoyant Cables products would serve well as a benchmark in their quality and put many high price products to shame. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed and you may find your system has been significantly upgraded. The Clairvoyant Cables will go a long way in bringing out the best your system can deliver.

Product Weakness: None
Product Strengths: Performance far beyond expectation at this price point, besting other more costly options I have tried.

I would like to add that I also own a pair and they have been nothing short of amazing.I have owned speaker cables from the major mass production companies to the small guy in a garage companies, and the Clairvoyant Cables Super Helix Golds are by far the best sounding speaker
cables I've had the pleasure to listen to in my system.

Simply not possible with a cable change. Prove it with measurement. In short, BS. And, yes, I believe cables can sound different.

I don't mind a little exaggeration, but speaker cables that can turn a system that's starting to roll off at 80Hz into one that's flat down to 20Hz (one octave down is 40Hz, two octaves is 20Hz) is an amazing feat.

... the sub had no cables before, so with these cables it can actually play so in that way yes, they do add an octave or two...

Now let's await the review for the matching power cable that also adds an octave or two.

A review has to have a bench mark when comparisons are made. Not revealing the benchmark, and the price point(s), how can one state that its a bargain or whatever.
24 lines total and only 3-4 lines actually 'describing' the differences with statements that defy physics...(roll eyes)
With my speakers that go down to the low 30's, this product would make my speakers open up subterraneous caverns below my floor. lol

What is up with this constant stream of 1st time posters with grand reviews on Cable Asylum?

"I replaced my 15’ run of garden hose size speaker cables (from a renowned company)"

Why even put up a review if you're not going to name the comparison cable?

Have some one with current audio reviewing experience and with up to date terminology and technique promote your products. Also, overly verbose claims often totally undermine credibility and hurt the rep of what MAY be a good product.

I see this is your first post. Are you a "new" dealer for Ernest?

I am not a new dealer or in any way connected with Clairvoyant Cable other than finding that "diamond in the rough" and sharing it with the audiophile community. Simply a delighted customer sharing my experience.

...you had been a little more specific in your "review", particularly in adding comparisons to other cables you've had in your system.
