I would like just to recommend the following Amp to the DIY enthusiasts who are looking for a great 300b SET for their Prometheus or for any other high efficiency speakers. The Amp is called Ceasar-II and is designed by Dick (TriodeDick). I do not need to introduce Dick; I am sure most of you know him already very well. His web site is mostly in Dutch. More information about his beautiful amps can be found at www.triodedick.com . Information about the Ceasar-II: http://www.triodedick.com/Ceasar_2_deel_1.htm Also in english ( for the Little Ceasar): http://www.triodedick.com/pdf_files_td/LittleCeasar.pdf I am now using these mono-blocks since almost 6 months and am more than happy with them. Below are some photos of my interpretation of the Littel Ceasar-II :-) : CAD picture: This will be the final product with an Aluminum casing. I did not finish the casing yet, since the current "inside frame" made of copper looks somehow nice to me as well :-) . I will finish the casing when I have more money ;-) : ![]() Photos: ![]() ![]() Regards, Mamal |
