I'm guessing a lot of you guys liked the ESS Heil drivers for most everything but their instability.
Well I've talked Mark & Daniel audio into releasing there air motion drivers to the diy crowd ! www.markdanielofamerica.com

I need a 10inch 'drone' or passive radiator for an ESS Heil Tempest II speaker enclosure [you know the one that looks like an AMT but taller on the outside and like leftovers from building a picnic bench and table on the inside]. the tweet and driver are new [in 1990] and never used. It took me literaly weeks to comprehend the operation of the crossover given its 'threeway' operation for a two way speaker. Anyway I digress, if I have a question it is; can or should I use a 'normal' 10 inch bass but just not connect to the terminals? I think not or it would have been done twenty years ago. ANY HELP WOULD BE ETERNALY APPRECIATED.
