The transformer buzz (it is not amp hum because it is still there when I switch off)on the subwoofer has been steadily getting worse. When I first installed them it was barely audible next to the speaker. Now it can be heard in a quiet room from 3 meters away. One is louder but both are exhibiting this phenomenon now whereas in the beginning only one sub buzzed.I guess there is no easy solution for this since the transformer plates are over time loosening. Perhaps one can tighten the nuts?Have other people had this problem?

Which subwoofer amps do you have? Titan, SAM2 or XTZ?

I had a Titan than buzzed, I wedged a polystyrene peanut under it, this fixed it.

I have the original plate amps .Titan i guess without checking.I do not understand the placement of the damper. You mean you wedged it under the transformer?I thought the buzzing is generated inside the transformer and it is not the actual transformer that is moving?

It's just some damping, the buzzing sound is probably mainly a resonance caused by dirty main, loose lams whatever....damping this killed the noise in my situation.
