Hello, I would need help for understanding the role of the coils with ferrite cores visible in the accompanying picture of the Hovland Stratos monoblock Probably they are used for noise suppression... Moreover, I would appreciate if someone would give details on the circuit: this object is considered, indeed, as an absolute reference for music reproduction despite of the fact it does not use valves but, apparently, only standard TO3 transistors in the final stage, and Jfets in the input stage (as in the Hovland Radia model)...
