According to the BAT website, the 52SE has 5 XLR inputs. I am assuming those are balanced inputs. So, my question is this, how do I plug in a device that has RCA cables? Will an adapter work? Do I need an interim device to plug between the devices and the Pre Amp?

Yes, the XLR inputs/outputs on the BAT preamps are fully balanced and for best results you will want to use balanced source devices and power amp. However, you'll still get outstanding results from your RCA-only devices by using XLR-to-RCA adapters.

These are a set of adapters I bought from a BAT dealer when I had my BAT preamp. At the time, I believe they were about $85/pair. You can get Cardas brand at about $50/pr or even "generics" for a lot less. I see that MusicDirect is selling the BAT Adapters for $125/pr these days.
