This is a curiosity question, since both the VTL Tiny Triods and the Manley Stingray are 25 watts in triod and are made by two companies that were one, -separation due to a divorce, -I suppose they might be somewhat bitterly competing against each other. But, just wondering, how do these competitors compare to each other, -if anyone had the opportunity to make an audio comparison.

IMHO the Tiny (VTL or Manley) (The older ones) sounds much better than the Stringray, I had the two (I had a Stingray with UL/Triode).

The Tinys have a very euphonic sound, is like see the world with a yellow glasses, but is charming.

P.S. Be carefull, the old tiny's easily burn the power transformer (Very hot and very small)

No idea how they sound, but I do not think there is any bitter competition going on between the two.
