Hi,

Can the P600 run with the poer meter show constantly around 620W with green indicator lamp on for 1 full rock CD.

Its gets hot but doesnt shut down. I will let cool after each CD. Is this damaging to the set.

I understand that the unit can take 720W with peaks to 1000w.

It runs my whole setup with a 400w amp. Os it ok so long as it doesnt shutdown>

  correction. Orange lamp lights up every few seconds and at time at a stretch for 20 seconds. At the the green indicatior comes on also for a few seconds.

  Seems to run almost as hot as my P300 now.

    I suspect that this load is not going to allow for good long term reliability of the P-600. I would recommend avoiding loads where the yellow warning light comes on for more than a fraction of a second.

      Thanks. Should i be concerned or will the unit shut down (self protect) if overloaded.

      I have not seen the meter over 720w.

      Another thing, is there anyway to show the consumption full time like in the P300. It also jumps back after a few seconds to show the power factor(eg. waveform).
