No matter what two digit number you pick, if you follow the instructions, the "answer" will be a multiple of 9 (9, 18, 27, etc). On the "gift page", all the gifts for these multiples of 9 are the same.

a 2 digit number ("xy") is 10x + y; If I subtract x and y from that, I get 10x +y - x - y = 9x.
