If you ever set up a turntable with the gauge, then go back with a proper Stevenson alignment protractor you'll quickly discover that they're markedly different. In fact, if you order an alignment protractor from Ken Willis you'll get two completely separate arcs for Stevenson and Technics.
Technics null points are: 58.8mm and 113.5mm; Stevenson are 60.3mm and 117.4mm respectively.
