Vinyl Asylum

Beautiful music, well recorded, & nice price for 2 x 45RPM Mercury LPs, but both LPs are coated in soapy residue. After several washings it's starting to quiet down. The LP includes a free MP3 download that I'd gladly trade for a small bottle of enzyme cleaner.

  Heard it from a bird that every copy of the 33.33 version came warped (via multiple distributors)

    My 33rpm copy is as flat as a pancake. I heard it was the 45rpm version that was warped (source: www.diversevinyl.com)

      Yup. My first 45rpm copy was warped. Swapped it for another and it's straight. I have to say, I don't think its a very well recorded lp. I think it's way more congested sounding than their other LPs and sort of flat. Maybe it's just not compatible with my set up, but I was disappointed.

        I thought it did sound a bit flat at the start, but seemed to improve. Or maybe I just got used to it :-)
