I saw the post below regarding a new 78 rpm test record avaiable and I was wondering if it would be like this Decca constant frequency record I have or would it be different in any way. Unfortunately I have not played this in the past so I am unaware as to what is on it. Maybe one day I will have a listen, anyway it sure does look good.

Follow Ups:
Unfortunately, I have no camera here to show the AES test record.
From the included printed sheet and labels:
AES Coarse-groove Calibration disc AES-S001-064
SIDE A: 1 kHz trigger tone / gliding tone, 20 Hz to 20 kHz / 1 kHz reference level
Speed 77.92 rpm
Lateral (mono) coarse groove
Time constants: 3180/450/0 us
Separate outer & inner bands
SIDE B: 1 kHz at 0 dB followed by 18 single tones, 19 kHz to 30 Hz
Speed 77.92 rpm.
Lateral (mono) coarse groove.
Time constants: 3180/450/0 us
(Pressed under license from EMI Records Ltd.)
Side note: The AES description explains that while 78.26 rpm eventually evolved as the standard turntable speed in North America, it was 78.92 rpm in Europe -- difference due to 60 vs. 50 Hz power line frequency.
Hope this helps.
