...all Thorens tonearms with an eff. length of 230 mm, a spindle-to-pivot distance of 215.60 mm and an offset angle of 22° are designed around the same set of null points (54 and 118 mm, apparently)?
Might I add -- vinylengine has a baerwald arc protractor for thorens arms -- works great.

That is not in the grooved area for any LPs that I know of. The grooved area is basically 60-mm to 146-mm. Some LPs might go in to 57.5-mm, but they are few and far between. Anyway, here is what your alignment looks like compared to Stevenson's alignment and Baerwald's alignment.
