The title, as mentioned, is “Grateful Dead,” but the labels are different. I was wondering if there really is any difference, and if I should keep both. (I didn’t have my PDA with me and bought the other second one by mistake.)The first one: Warner Bros. Green label, record number 2WS 1935. Below that number, in parentheses, there is S39943. (Paid $5.98)
The second one: Warner Bros. palm tree label. The rest of the information is the same as the green label. (Paid $8.98)
Both are in great condition and with no scratches - really top condition. If these are essentially the same album with different labels, would you keep both?
I also picked up another Grateful Dead - a wonderful 2-album set called “Reckoning,” (for $4.98).

Follow Ups:
The first pressing would have been on a gold lable. What you really need to look for is the mono version, as the stereo mix was rather poor on this album. Also, be on the lookout for a green W7 pressing of Aoxomoxoa, with the original mix on it. Quite different from the 1972 remix that Phil(?) did.

The green label is the older label.
Play 'em and keep the better one!
