>> “To my ears the 45's are the best and the 33 AP's are good enough to not even bother looking for a quite Fantasy.”Well, all of CCR's original Fantasy LPs and 45s (not including reissues or repressings) were actually pressed by RCA - and their original Fantasy LPs were generally pressed on that infamous “Dynawarp” (Dynaflex) vinyl. And RCA-pressed 45s are generally on the noisy side, as well. Thus, you'd be lucky to find a copy of an original CCR Fantasy that’s been play-graded in even VG+ condition.

My CCR Fantasy's are on thick, stiff vinyl.

Oh, second pressings of most original CCR Fantasy’s are indeed on Dynawarp. (That also goes for first pressings of Pendulum and Mardi Gras .)

I rather like my completely quiet Fantasy 8410 Pendulum. Listening to it right now. The organ, especially the sax and Fogerty's voice all come across as natural with good presence. I do like the 45's better though.
