Border song, Take me To The Pilot,
I have one with the Uni label and another has the later MCA label. Both good pressings.
I recall listening to Tumbleweed Connection early seventies. Madman, Don't Shoot Me. Lots of EJ radio hits always playing as part of the musical backdrop. Up until,...what? Late seventies and then EJ sort of retires. And, waiting in the wings was Billy Joel with that song called "Piano Man"...and a string of others to follow it.
Radio. What was playing on the radio. That's what most of us listened to. Do they still do that?

Follow Ups:
neither the Uni nor the MCA can hold a candle to the DJM pressings of EJ early works. Captain Fantastic in a DJM pressing is so damned good. I love EJ so much my kids hate him, though they do love Bennie & the Jets.

DJM. That's a label I haven't seen in my meanderings.
I'm not surprised that that will be the preferred label for collectors.
Thanks for the tip. I'll keep a lookout.
