She's been complaining about all the records for a while, and then brought in 200 more. So today, she drags me to Ikea to buy some Kallax shelves for them. ;)
Now all I have to do is build them...

Well I'm all set now and it does look better. I still having sorted in my sister's collection though, It may be a tight fit, but there is also a lot I didn't want, so those could go to the reject collection. Really, how many copies of the Cowsills do I need? I think zero is the correct answer.
...I heard a voice in my record cabinet complain about my wife.
She's gone now.
Dean.
reelsmith's axiom: Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.
But she keeps falling when she steps on them!
actually buy the biggest one you can find, two hundred should fit in 2-3 cubes.
that way it looks empty (for future rationalizations)
to make them rigid, put a bead of caulking (transparent if you care)
along each front to back edge for each cube. a 4x4 puts about 160# for
each vertical cube array. basements or over joists is best to support
the load.
I feel sorry for you. Now you have to organize them....ha
...that even though simple to construct, watching YouTube videos was helpful before building mine. I also used super glue on the wooden dowels but keep in mind you only get one chance when doing so.
All the best!
Still spinnin'...
;^)
I just put one together in about half an hour. Instead of super glue use wood glue. A lot cheaper and holds wood and particle board better.

My "go to" glue is Gorilla products. From ceramics to wood furniture I have no complaints. I just put together two Kallax 2x2 units.Still spinnin'...(and gluing)
;^)
