Considering a Cartridge, would be AT 120e, have read good things about the Emotiva XPS-1. AT 120e load capacitance is listed at 100-200pf. Emotiva XPS-1 i believe ,eventhough not listed is 220pf.
This would seem to make the AT not a good match for the Emotiva XPS-1.
Am i overthinking this or should this be considered before purchasing the Emotiva XPS?

As regards your actual question, I would say "yes", you ARE over-thinking it. The difference between 200 pF and 220 pF would not amount to a hill of beans. But, that said, keep in mind that you need to add in the capacitance of your phono cable in calculating the total capacitance seen by the cartridge. Most good (low capacitance) phono cables add 50 to 150 pF, I'd guess, depending upon length. You might investigate the capacitance of your cables. If it's on the low end of the range I quoted, around 50 pF, you'd probably be ok with the total of 270 pF. You might also be able to compensate for high-ish capacitance by changing the load resistance. In general, I have not found capacitance to be a major determinant of good listening with MM cartridges, so long as you're not way way off base.
The XPS-1 would be a better choice should you need selectable loading for low MCs. The Mani is 100 pF, IIRC. The Mani is $20 less, to boot.
