The longer I shop on ebay, the more I desire to grade my own records.
On a brighter note, Rasputin's in Berkekey opened a new vinyl and bookshop.
Follow Ups:
I was in Berkeley over the weekend, and got a few minutes to browse through the stores quickly. Right after Amoeba, I walked over and they told me they were about to close. I saw the logo on the wall, and thought they might be connected to Rasputin. I thought they had moved, and walked over to the old store, and it looks like it was still open as well.

would agree with all the other posters. Buying classical in LA has few options these days.
Record surplus moved off of Pico and the 405 up to Santa Monica. New store location is much smaller than the Pico store. They do have some classical in the new store, but nowhere near the volume they used to carry at the Pico store.
also not sure if Aaron Records on Hollywood Blvd (south of the 101 frwy) is still there or not, have a feeling its gone.
happy listening.
