If three motors is worthy of an exclamation point (in the context of the eBay ad), then how many explanation points would be required for 6 or 12 motors!!!
Hey, I'll play that game.
I give up.
How many?

But obviously also my underlying message is that I see no particular benefit to using 3 motors and possibly there are penalties: more noise and erratic speed if any one or two of the motors is out of perfect synch with any one or two of the others. Bear in mind, these are "possible" problems; I don't know if this particular turntable is free of them, or not. I do rather like the idea of two motors, placed at 180 degree intervals from each other and very close to the platter, a la the Kuzma Reference.
Just messin' with you, Lew.
I have one motor.
Even simpler.

What more could anyone want?
uses but one motor - and the platter is magnetically isolated from the lower drive section.
Simply incredible looking table in person. Nudge the platter and the entire massive sub-chassis gimbals. :)
Nothing, I hope! ;-)
I have no idea what my RP6 uses but I do have a Phoenix Eagle attached. The Falcon didn't have the juice.
Seems good.
I can't play with the big boys.
