I spotted one of these on the bay. the thing that's captured my iterest is that it has inputs to change the loading of your cart, one of the hard to find but great features in a phono stage.(by connecting resistors)

...where you can change the loading and equalization curve with the remote control?
Can you tell me who makes them, or ar you pulling my leg?
The new Cyrus phono has remote control of all basic functions (gain, resistance, capacitance) and has inputs for 4 turntables. Not cheap though.
....the Abbington Musical Research PH-77. You punch the buttons and it displays the load and curve you are using. I'm not sure if it's still made.
It does sometimes lead to irresponsible listening for interesting effects if you get carried away. "Yeah, let's try the Decca curve on a 60s DGG!"
that'ssomething to google..here goes
among many, offered phono preamps with sockets for installing loading resistors. Personally, I don't see it as a great feature.

I'd rather change resistors than have several resistors and a switch with its contacts that can degrade things.

That's your reply? Less is more as you know. I clean interconnects and jacks annually with great results too. Not much won't corrode in time.
