Going through my LPs recently I came upon something I was not previously aware of. The Stylistics "Round 2" covers were different. The second example looks to have been censored by leaving out the hands/fists. Censorship is just my guess but human hands can say so much without a word being spoken.

My personal fav... The Piano Artistry of Jonathan Edwards.
As there's a Warhol for every occasion here's one pertinent to ASHRA's post. Nice post ASHRA!

Excellent contributions! The Bert Jansch LP is from 1975 and one of the most recent pressings of his I've acquired.

Great covers as usual, thanks for keeping the ACOTD going.
My addition is the only one I can think of at the moment.

so much with so little.
sheer numbers of LPs of hands and other themes. You guys must have huge collections, especially you, ASHRA, as you frequently post pictures of all manner of themes and have many, many examples for each theme. WOW!!!!
...some grouping of DSM. I wish I had known more about DSM and jazz years ago when they were obtainable.
Thanks for sharing!

They are still obtainable... but, I guess more collectible and thusly pricey. I need about 35 more of the known DSM's and I'll have them all. Previously unknown ones show up though, so... something to do for ANOTHER 30 years. The close up is one I don't have - and it's driving me nuts! I have about 340.
Interestingly the Hank Jones on Mercury is NOT a DSM but signed by one Merle Shore.
It's usually credited to DSM.
Anyway, I have a great collection of DSM but it pales in comparison to the breadth
and width of YOUR collection.
Your ACOTD always blow my mind! Even that Spinners LP with the hands is special!

Irving Penn's MD pix for TUTU showed great hands.
