You asked what I would do. I am a vintage guy. Wile I would think that the Roksan Artemiz tonearm is not a much better tonearm, and the Thorens is reputed to sound better than the Garrard, I would still go with the Garrard 401/SME 3009 II. This is a classic setup with a lot of history. It sound good enough and looks great. Also, I much prefer having interchangeable headshells. This is an emotional decisions which is not based on sound quality, but that is what I would do. Plus you can sell the Roksan/Thorens for big bucks.

FWIW....the Roksan Artemiz arm is a SUPER arm. will tract an 18-item pizza with one hand tied behind it's back, is as neutral as any, is lightening quick, removes layers of haze, and never smears or gets confused when encountering complex passages.
i have two here now, along with a zillion other arms, and continue to love them.
