I am jealous, a Tjader record that I don't have. Need to start the search. It looks like new too. Well done. My wife and I got married in the spring of 1969 and within the first month had discovered Cal Tjader. Our first record was Hip Vibrations. I have literally worn out 2 copies and am working on a third. We love this guy. Got to see him live only once, in San Diego somewhere around 1974.

He Bill, could that have been at Funky Quarters? You likely have that live recording if you have most of Tjader's albums.
I didn't attend that one but did catch a few other great concerts there.

No that was not the performance that we attended. The Funky Quarters album is quite different from most of his others. As much rock as jazz, almost Santana like. Not my favorite.
