two cantilever collapses on JICO-SAS styli. I now use Zero-Dust exclusively with an occasional dry brushing. FWIW I believe none other that Peter Ledermann agrees.

I've used Stylast for as long as I can remember, but always put the liquid on the brush (not the brush in the bottle, but the short stiff bristled brush that comes with the kit). A few drops on that brush and then to the stylus. You get the chemical action of the liquid without having to worry about it traveling up the cantilever.
Yes, your right and I highly respect Mr.Ledermann and he has done two of my cartridges and they sound wonderful.
I cannot get away from LAST as I used to avoid the record preservative or cleaner on my "good" records as Mobile Fidelity used to recommend NOT using any cleaning products on them, so I never used it on MoFi's, Sheffields, Telarcs and other premium titles. I had my own control group as it were. Now every title I buy regardless gets cleaned, LASTED, and mofi sleeved.
As to the stylus I never had a problem with using stylus cleaner and stylast in actual use. I have read about fluid creep and issues but LAST products have served me admirably and I think their stuff rocks.
Have Fun!
and MoFi sleeved. I used LAST preservative in the past with excellent results as proven over time. Don't know why I stopped
