I finally got around to read the article. The re-tooling and investment into vinyl manufacturing is a sign of a continuing interest fuelling supply and demand. Good for the industry and the vinyl consumer for quality sound reproduction.

About time someone thought of making new machines. And had the chutzpah to invest. Time will tell whether this is the answer to QC problems with new vinyl. If it really improves the quality of the final product, it should be a godsend to the industry.
