It was probably the worst of the original three in the way of packaging- only a single LP with most of the tracks severely edited... Pretty sure it was still analog though. No mention either way (after all, it was 1983).
Now if you tell me that you have EP V (Empire) with the booklet, I WILL cry...

I have a NM copy of IV which i listen to, am hunting for a sealed copy to enshrine, and I have my original Empire that I bought back when it came out, but that's a little rough. Searching for a nicer copy. Next time I go to a convention if the vendor isn't a dick, I'll get one.
Lately vendors at conventions are out of their minds with pricing. $300 for a NM vinyl with ring wear on the cover. Wouldn't budge. That's mint sealed territory or with a Lucas signature.
Good grief! I am a vendor ( got convention 1week from today). I had a sealed Empire in my soundtrack box for 5 years or so for 12.00. Finally sold it back in the spring for 10.00. I have 2 more opened but nm I have kept for myself.
Although the top edge of the gatefold was mysteriously stuck together when I got it. Had to prise it apart carefully. Otherwise generally fine, with minor edge ware, where the wrapping had worn. I scratched the front by accident. Takes me right back.
Kleenex? :^)
