Great, great album. Blues, hard rock, swamp, folk, norteno, all handled superbly. Their stylistic breadth and level of musicianship never fail to leave me flabbergasted. Precision and feeling, discipline and looseness, unerring instinct and carefully considered choices. Magdelena, I Believed You So, Poquito Para Aqui,Made to Break Your Heart - not a weak song in the stack. The vinyl quality, unfortunately, is not up to the music. My copy is noisy (bg shushing, esp between tracks) and not flat. The recording is not audiophile-level, so it's not a deal-breaker, but I'd recommend buying the CD.
And I do recommend the CD - very highly.

Thanks. The wife and I just saw them in New Hampshire. What a great show.
Thanks for the heads up, I'm a Big Los Lobos fan as well.

Cool, one should be here tomorrow.
Always happy to hear a new recording from my favorite band-media is immaterial.
This is their first studio LP with Bug, the drummer.
Thanks for spreading the word!
