If it becomes a status symbol for the wealthy, I will be quite happy with computer digital audio. However, I'll spin a record every now and then just for the hell of it (and good sound).

Mr. Fremer does have some influence on the media's take on vinyl but it's more likely that one of the Journal's marketing people pointed out that there's money to be made from selling vinyl gear and they could tap into the ad revenue.

That's all any media outlet cares about these days. Content is that crap that gets in the way of sales.
