Someone gave me a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon as a gift. I literally had to rebuild the motor suspension to make the 120 Hz hum go away. The mod included 1/8" Dr. Scholl's corn pads, longer wood screws, and a 30 gram lead weight that I made myself out of an ingot.
I don't have any suggestions for a replacement motor. Sorry about that.

Mine solution was close to yours in that I used pieces of gelrunning shoe insoles with longer wood screws for mine. What did you do with the lead weight?
I slid the weight over a plastic dowel that I'd screwed on the back of the motor mounting plate, on the tip of the bolt that was just exposed. It helped center the drive belt in the pulley.Would that this 120 Hz hum were the turntable's only problem. The Debut Carbon is now sitting in my equipment orphanage. What a total piece of junk.
