I've cleaned about 50 records with the V 8 and can now give a partial report. I started cleaning 8 records at a time and guessed that 25 minutes would be sufficient to clean them. I dont think so. My Hunt record brush still could rake up a small bit of fine dust. My suggestion is to clean fewer records at one time or clean for a longer time, say 40 minutes at least per batch of 8. Cleaning 4 at a time for 15 minutes resulted in the brush gathering NO dust and a much clearer, cleaner crisper sound. It doesnt take long to establish a routine for cleaning and drying. I use a Record Doctor vacuum for drying. The liquid may be used for several sessions. David says to change it but since there is 91% alcohol in the cleaning water (and more can be added)I use it for a few times(3 so far lately)with out a problem. Recommended for REALLY clean records.
Nottingham 294, Ortofon Cadenza Black, Einstein Turntables Choice, C-J CT 5, Quicksilver 88 mono amps, and Reference 3A Grand Veena speakers.

I thought you used distilled water as the cleaning fluid. I've had mine for a couple of years and have always used distilled water

Distilled water is the base cleaner. David(the inventor)recommends a few ounces of 91% alcohol and a few drops of Photoflo to the water to aid cleaning and help the water drain off the cleaned records.
OK \I thought you were saying the cleaning solution was 91% alcohol
Sorry
