IF you don't insist on buying the sealed pig in a poke, it's possible to get extremely good original copies for less than $35 each - I know, because I got a couple for a friend as a gift last year, under $20 each.
I do understand that for some folks, this will be the only way to get that kind of quality (in theory), but geez, record companies - I at least hope they make it all-analog and good-quality vinyl.

Well I can understand the sticker shock it is about 10 bucks more a record. Keep in mind I'm one of those "by the pound" thrift store guys so I'm as cheap as the next guy.
But since I got my first half speed 45rpm (little hatch) I can appreciate how good those things sound. And it's really only 34 bucks per record which considering the short run isn't completely crazy.
There are certain artists like Gabriel, U2 and Yazoo that I'm a big fan of and will spend a little more to get pristine quiet vinyl. Floyd as well.
Fucking shit god dammit motherfucker
In case anyone wants these, I switched to pounds paid through paypal and it worked as advertised. Thanks again.
" By the pound" now you are talking when I go out searching if it averages out to more then 3 bucks an LP I feel cheated. Now I buy music I love and its always old copies, I just sit and wait have been doing it for years this artist I would pass by anyhow not for me if I am missing something fine let someone else enjoy it. No disrespect am sure my collection is not interesting to a lot of people but I sure enjoy it, that is all that matters what you listen to has to be something that knocks your socks off or its not worth a dime. Just my 10 cents worth.
