Yesterday the vinyl gods were indeed smiling when I walked into my local thrift and found an eleven album set of the first pressing of Folkways Jazz. The lps were in excellent condition with some wear on the top seam of the cover. The vinyl on visual inspection, shows to VG to M- on the half dozen I inspected.
These, when found in a set, are a bit rarer than hen's teeth.
My oh My, what a great addition to my collection, I couldn't be happier.
Follow Ups:
I buy any Folkways records in good condition that I see. They always are an enjoyable listen.

I played album #2 this morning. Sound was great, minimal pops, no scratches. Hard to believe it was recorded 65 years ago.
