It should be "Its better by a bit" not "Superior by a bit". Superior is "far better".

In order to indicate degree, a qualifier is required, i.e. "vastly superior" or "marginally superior."In the above comparison, the latter applies.

Or you could just check a dictionary and clearly see that Opus is correct. Not really any room for argument.
