I haven't posted for quite awhile primarily because I've been without my vinyl setup and relegated to listening over on the dark side. And I had a minor health issue. But my vinyl gear is coming back together now and within a short time I will have a phono preamp designed and built by my genius friend in Europe. It is currently under construction and promises to be an astounding performer ... we shall see. I will be running my Dynavector Te Kaitora Rua MC cartridge and after a few hours I'll post my impressions here.
Since all of my audio equipment was designed and built by the same guy and sounds stunning to my ears, I have high expectations about the results I'll hear from my new phono preamp and I am very excited. When he tells me it will sound amazing, I believe him because he has never been wrong in my experience. It has been too long since I have listened to Getz, Evans and the rest so I can't wait. Stay Tuned.

and all that. Glad your health is improved.
Thanks, three stents and all is well. Vinyl is by far my listening preference so returning to the format is nirvana.

"three stents and all is well."Wow! Best wishes for a comfortable recovery. Stroke survivor here, so I too know of the experience lying in that hospital bed wondering...am I getting closer to...the next phase?
My stroke reminded me it was time after 30+ years, to start listening with decent gear instead of just okay equipment.

Honestly I was trying to make a statement about - ok who really cares what my topic was --- you people here on the asytum are a wonderful group and with this post the topic will probably end. Thank you to all - I plan to make it a few more years because of my vinyl gear:-)
