There was a really nice interview with Chad this morning on Weekend Edition (NPR). Really impressed with the depth and interest of the host.

Thanks for posting this. I enjoyed it very much. :> )
Very enjoyable listen. Thanks.
Hi, WntrMute2,
I happened to catch that interview today and really enjoyed it. Mr. Kassem's an interesting guy; I'm glad he's helping to revive record manufacturing. It'd be fun to visit a pressing plant some day.
Regards,
Tom
It is fun. Wife and I got the tour of the plant when we were in Salina for the Blues At The Crossroads show Chad puts on each year. That was shortly after he got the plant up and running. I think he had five presses running when we visited. Got to see up close the whole process from plating masters to shrink wrapping the finished product. Salina is not a tourist destination, so no real reason to go there except for the blues show or a visit to Acoustic Sounds, but worth the trip, IMO.
