so it would have been a New York USA label, then re-issued on Liberty label. I used to pass on Liberty labels (not any more) as the prices rise to the sky on the others, often it is the only sensible thing left. Will I ever get a copy of Cool Struttin' that is better than the NM- Liberty I currently own? Unlikely.
While the majority of my BN records are NY USA or earlier, I recently came into a large collection of later issues, up to the Dark Blue label with the black "B" on it (1973-78). I am listening to these to see what's worth keeping (performance and sound quality).
Anyway, nice collection there.

I have it too along with others.
So far Music Matters 33 reissue sounds the best but I would love to listen to the original first pressing some day.
Music Matters 33 Cool Struttin' is also excellent. But I've only compared it to Classic Records reissue and newer Blue Note reissues and CD.
I've settled for a couple of later (seventies) solid blue label re-issues. Those sounded just fine to my ear. I don't have --even one-- original issue Blue Note record. Everything I have is either a Liberty or later reissue. On the positive side, I got the music without having to pay a small fortune.
