If you go for the new Pro-Ject just make sure you can audition it before buying or at least buy from a place with a solid return policy. These lower end Pro-Jects are notorious for noisy motors that can drive people crazy. I've had two turntables (Debut III and Xpression II) and three motors (tried a replacement on the Xpression II). All three motors had really annoying mechanical resonance issues that even all the tweaks around the internet couldn't fully alleviate.
whereas i have a sapphire, i am not sure about the lower line SOTAs. pro-ject is a great line as well.
