In fact, depending on the vintage of LP12 and the A-T house sound, sonically it should sound pretty darned good!
Speaking as an owner of previous A-T models (OC-9 ML II, and a bunch of MM types over the last 30+ years), even though they recommend a tracking force for this model of 0.75grams to 1.75grams (1.25grams nominal), I have always found that around the 1.5gram range tended to get the best tracking and sound from pretty much EVERY A-T that I've ever had, IMHO...
Good luck, and let us know what happens!

I believe my LP12 was built in the mid 80"s? I have some factory upgrades, like the Lingo and a couple others.
I will try both 1.25 & 1.5 grams of tracking force.
Thank you for your reply. I'll be sure to report back.
once you get it installed and dialed in, give it some break in time- I would suggest 30-40 hours before making any serious judgment calls...

By all accounts, the AT20SS is a top performer among MM cartridges. I don't know the effective mass of the Ittok, but you might want to check that. Just be sure to allow several hours for the suspension to loosen up after all the years of storage, before you judge it.
