Hi Dman,
Slightly off topic, but did you get that electronic drive TT on speed?
Phil
coffee,
I posted something last night, in response to you, but I guess that AA spaced it. Seems to be doing that a LOT lately to things I post... Weird.
Having said that; Yes! I did get the speed up to the proper range! Once I did the resistor replacement on the first R-value as you suggested, the trim-pot now can be set to around the 9 o'clock position for accurate 33.3 (see pic above to note that I have a correct 50.00hz signal now!
I also checked the mechanical accuracy by playing back the Cardas Sweep record, which has a 1kHz tone on it. The DMM reading came out at 1.001kHz, so things are much better now.
BTW, D-Wife, when she got back from her vacation, heard Madonna's Vogue and IMMEDIATELY KNEW it was at the right tempo/pitch!
Thanks again for your help (if even in making me remember how to calculate that R-value!)...
Cheers,
Dman

at first I'd preview and see the post then post and it was gone. Yesterday I posted (you can see all my edits) and it finally showed. Today gone.....I can't see your pic either..........tried mine again (pic lifted of the same TT from the net) and it seems to work for now.
