I'm not saying heating it up to the point were is hot to the touch. Just a little warm and none of my albums have any notable side effect from doing this. I was just curious to know if any body has tried this before that's all.
when the CDs began to delaminate. Moral: Long term effects can take a long time to reveal themselves.
Ditto the "wet playback craze" for vinyl.
I'll stick to an initial cleaning with my VPI RCM, then a CF brushing before each side along with a Stylast application. Been working for me for 30+ years.

Opus you do have a very good valid point there, I'll think I will quit experimenting. all my vinyl is Audiophile grade, since I had to start from scratch again, I been buying all Audiophile grade vinyl when I can find them, sometimes I have to buy a 120g album but not that many.
