Pro-ject Xtension 10 vs. VPI Scout

I am in the market for a turntable in this price range. Has anyone compared these two? How do they compare to the Amadeus?
Hoping to check them out this weekend at Axpona.

The Pro-Ject lists for $3,250 while the Scout 1.1 is $2K. The Scout 2 is $2.5k. Even so, I'd still take the Scout, especially the 1.1 with SDS.
