Opus 33 1/3
Follow Ups:
even remember what year it was, but it had to be in the very early 60s. Thanks for the post, and I still have that original record. In fact,my house is just full of stuff, and there is no way I could ever move. My kids are going to be really pissed at my estate sale.

Why is most of the audience so still?
This SoundSmith'd Benz is really singing now with the Cornet3 back in rotation! Normally I close with Mark Almond, tonight Jarret - a great choice.

All Music Matters recent 33 rpm reissues.
His drumming truly comes alive with Music Matters 33 records due to excellent dynamics and ultra low noise floor.
I haven't tried Impex label's 'Hard Bop' or 'Drum Suite' to compare, tho.
Are you happy with these latest Music Matters releases? I've been tempted but haven't seen much discussion regarding the quality. Thanks in advance...

I've sampled several Music Matters' Blue Notes: Kenny Burrell - Midnight Blue, Herbie Hancock - Takin' Off (45 rpm), Herbie Hancock - Maiden Voyage and Horace Silver - Song For My Father (45 rpm). All are excellent.
Empyrean Isles arrives next week.
Grant Green - "Talkin" About". This is a recording I know very well having owned both the original and the CD. The Music Matters 45 is in an entirely different league. That Larry Young Hammond B3 is amazing in tone and pace. I was hesitant as well but I'm really glad I made the purchase. I'll certainly be buying others.

From Here to Now to You.
Ever since we saw JJ on Live at the Iridium. We had never heard of him but we became instant fans. This LP is way better than the CD, OMO.
If you ever come across their Christmas album, I recommend it.
