Follow Ups:
a HUGE record store. Plus he describes the brand as Pfanstiehl. Altho I like LP Gear and KAB I see no reason to favor them, at 2x the price, over this seller.

"Have you a water buffalo?"
My bad. I didn't scroll down the ebay page, and just automatically made assumptions.
I don't put much stock in feedback for something that can shred my lps, BUT I totally missed that they have a serious retail store front.
That would make me trust them on par with KAB or whomever.
Likely the stylus they are selling is the same as that sold by KAB.
And, unlike LPgear's incommunicado tedencies, you wouldn't have any problem reaching these guys on the phone because they have a live retail front.
I know the JICOs are better (I have one on my V15VxMR), but geez :-)
it's probably a Pfanstiehl. They used to make very good replacements but from what I've read the QC is really bad on them these days.
You should spend the extra money and go with a JICO or LP Gear.

For $10 more ($25 plus shipping )you can get one from KAB USA that you know has been quality checked and that they will stand behind. I got one this year for my father in law, just to hold him over, and to make sure that solved the problems he was having. I was intending to help him buy a JICO SAS or other higher grade stylus if it worked. He was so happy with it,that he told me he didn't need something "better."
turntableneedles.com and Lpgear have bottom grade stylus at $41 and $49.
Or you can by a hyper-elliptical or SAS directly from JICO. http://stylus.export-japan.com/
If you have a cartridge that good, I can't see any reason to buy on ebay just to save $10 bucks.
HI Chet.
Thanks for your thought . it just so confuse when it come to buying V15 stylus . there is so many variation in the market and which one to choose is one big question .i don't think i'm alone on this so hopefully this thread will clear thing's up for other who want to buy a good one without spending the Jico SAS price.
LT
I think the KAB one might be a Pfanstiehl, and JICO makes some of the cheaper ones being sold by established retailers, as well as the SAS. Someone had a replacement with a Shibata stylus too. To bad you didn't catch me 5 months ago when I had all the info and sources bookmarked...
i just check KAB website and can't find any V15 type3 stylus listed
There is a table at the bottom of the Shure page that matches stylus to cart.
Also, see my response above.
