re-issue and wow! It really sounds a lot better than I remember the original sounding. Good bass, treble on the cymbals all there, much clearer overall ... The original sounded dull, distant and muffled. This version sounds much closer, singers up front in the mix and the instruments very present and full. All in all, I'm quite pleased. And the music is outstanding for the most part. Nothing new there. But, now it's all there to hear. I even enjoyed Neil Diamond! BTW, the records are flat, quiet, not a pop or click, no smudges....nobody played Frisbee with the LPs at lunch or got any gook on them.

I have the original pressing and it is not good.
The version I got from Rhino a few years back was numbered 900/1500. Why was it numbered? It had Robbie's, Garth's and Levon's signature on the inset cover.
the reissue you are referring to, or do you have a different one? Thanks Norm
