Been a while on the Cat front...
Cesar Ascarrunz is a classic, loved/hated SF character, former owner of the top Latin Club in SF
(Cesar's Latin Palace) from the 70's, 80's (and according to the half ass reportage
in the story link -90's), he's run for mayor several times. Think I may have voted
for him once. Know I voted for Jello Biafra against Ascarrunz once. Decent enough LP
by him and have passed up owning a copy for years, but HAD to buy this one at a thrift
shop on Mission street down the street from where CLP was.

How about this one?
"The torture never stops"Greetings Freek.
IIRC Caesar would campaign in his old fire truck and as the election got close he would endorse one of the major candidates ensuring them the latin vote. Don't forget the year Sister Boom Boom ran.
"Trying is the first step towards failure."
Homer Simpson
That's right, he did do that!Even a couple years ago those old fire trucks were sitting
in a lot down the street, signs still affixed, rusting away.Alas, Sister Boom Boom has passed and the Sisters
of Self Indulgence aren't nearly as fun as they used
to be, which are two separate issues. But then SF isn't as fun as it used to be.

Photo taken from the web. If I ever see a copy out in the wild I'll snag it.
I'm not certain how rare this album is, but I suspect it's not common.edit: this album has become so uncommon one might expect the price to be uncommon as well. (Whatever that means)

If you do a search of the Mercury catalog (which is well documented), you'll find no history of that release.
It's a lovely fake tribute to the great LM based on this:
Mercury 61085 searches turn this up:
